Do you use your iPhone to take pictures? What photography apps do you use? Do you have a separate lens for your iPhone?

These are really common questions in my inbox, here are some answers:
1. If you want to see iphone photos of mine, checkout my Instagram @jodyjohnston (www.instagram.com/jodyjohnston)
2. The majority of the photos here on foxesandfeathers are shot with a canon 7d, it’s a solid piece of equipment that is fairly weather resistant and I’m not afraid to take it adventuring with me.
3. I edit with Lightroom on my computer. It’s solid processing for large workloads.
As far as cell phone applications go, I primarily use two apps for editing: after light, and snapseed.
Lots of folks only use vscocam, and have lots of success though.
4. The iphone lens does a great job on it’s own! Several years ago I use to play around a lot with an olloclip (fisheye/wide angle lens) but I love the simplicity of just pulling my phone out of my pocket and shooting when I’m not out with my dslr.
